Ratchaprapa Dam is located on Khao Sok mountain in Surat
Thani province, the south of Thailand. Khao Sok is far from Bangkok, the capital city, about 732 kilometers. We can travel to there by car or plane as our convenience. However, we must rent a car driving to there for about 60 kilometers from Surat Thani airport. Ratchaprapa is one of the most beautiful sights in my country. By car, my family and I went there in October23-25, 2015. We could take a boat trip looking the amazing scenery of the dam. Our group paid 1,800 baht for the boat trip. One boat could contain 10-15 persons depending on its size. That’s a gorgeous view in this trip. We had a short time in this trip because of taking time in traveling; however, with its beautiful scenery, it was value for our time.
